What a Wednesday! Sheeeet!

Lunch: grilled salmon, green beans, field greens
Dinner: matzo ball soup with chicken and carrots (didn’t touch the matzo ball, though!)

Lucky Jeans are already loose! That was quick! Should start seeing more results by this weekend! I rule!
So Anna and I just came back from Ballys and Caesars Palace. Ballys was brutal. Very first hand picked up AA and raised to $10. Got 2 callers. Bought in for $200. Chip runner was still getting my chips. By the time I got my chips, dealer told chip runner to give them to him so he can push them to Villain #1. Villain flopped 2 pair and turned the boat to add insult to injury. Lost my $200 in about 30 seconds. And that wasn’t the brutal hand. Next hand I played…had A, 10 and raised. Got 2 callers again and flopped top 2! Villain #2 bets $15 and gets 1 call. I raise to $35 and villain #2 calls and other fool folds. Turn is a 4 and villain bets $25 or $30 and I go all in…I get insta called and river is another 4. I have top 2 and villain turns over 4, 5 for trips. I look at Jeff (the dealer) and he asks, “not top 2?!” and I turn over top 2 and the table for the second time is in shock. Another $100 lost in about 45 seconds. I don’t think I’ve lost $300 so quickly, ever…on dumb ass beats like this either. Everyone just stared at Villain #2 in disgust and I couldn’t wait to leave the table. Once Jeff was done with his shift, he came up to me to “console” me to tell me Villain #2 lost all his chips (that were once my chips) to another fool…gee, i feel so much better. Great. WTF?!
Ok, so I lost my daily $300 and was going to go home. But no, idiot me decides to make a stop at Caesars and buy in for another $200. Flopped top 2 again but Villain #3 turns the straight. $500 lost in less than 2 hours. Wonderful. So, I am not playing tomorrow cuz I should only be losing $200 per day (when I do lose) and I already lost $500. If I told my bff, she’d say that’s a pair of Jimmy Choos! Well, almost! Sheeeeet!
The People’s Choice Awards are on right now and although I’m watching it, there arent any “real” stars on. Where’s Brangelina???!!! Carrie Underwood?! Rascal Flatts?! WTF?! Uh, let’s bring out the real stars please! So now Gavin Rossdale’s on. Uh, we all know his wife, Gwen, is the real star! Where she at?! With her Harajuku girls??!! Sheeet! Ok, here’s the secret if u didn’t already know. These award shows give the hardware to the fool that can actually be there to accept the award. So since “real” stars don’t bother showing up to these B-list award shows, we only see the B-list stars. A-List stars only show up at the Oscars and Golden Globes. Ok seriously, “The Secret Life of Bees” just won favorite movie drama!! Are you kidding me?? Oh, just so happens that Queen Latifah is hosting this damn show so of course her movie just won. 2008 Movie Drama = The Secret Life of Bees???? WTF??!! Where’s the remote?
Had a scare this morning. Tehsi suddenly woke up and started gagging and it looked like she was choking and having a seizure. She was scared and started shaking. Had to calm her down and after a couple of minutes, she spit up foam and gunk. She seemed ok right after though so I took her to her groomer and now she’s so clean and sleeping peacefully. Such a sweet dog. Just worrisome. she needs a little friend to play with when I’m on the Strip.
I hafta start on “Eat, Pray, Love” soon before I venture to Bali. Maybe should do so now…good nite all. Be good to each other and better to yourself.
